Director - Sales & Business Development

- The position is based in the US and is responsible for sales and business development activities, from lead generation through closure for the US markets. Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base. Works within the delivery and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

The individual will be accountable for :

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the sales of software development and testing services for the specified geography.

- Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge to effectively present PureSoftware business and capabilities.

- Develops annual business plan in conjunction with company Chief Business Officer, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, and focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota.

- Responsible for building, and mentoring Sales team members.

- Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.

- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.

- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in taking market share from larger competitors.

- Sells consultative and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.

- Works and guides the Inside Sales team to develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.

- Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.

- Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the PureSoftware solutions to their problems.

- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

- Responsible for identifying and building effective Centers of Influence Network with Sales Recruiters and other professionals to maximize revenue.

- Demonstrates the ability to gather detailed business information for estimation, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.

- Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.

- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

- Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.

- Develop and maintain a high level of communication with client and all team members.

Skills and Knowledge :

- Strong analytical skills and experience

- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills

- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the group's knowledge of and concern for users- business needs

- Hands on knowledge of systems implementation and their associated products, as well as general computer literacy is required, as is significant systems development and integration experience.

- Must possess a general technical awareness--should be able to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business; should be experienced in the strategic use of technology in managing a growing business.

Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline. MBA is desirable (not mandatory)

- Total experience of at least 10+ years with a minimum 6+ years in Software Services including Software Development/ Testing/Product engineering

- Experience in any of the domains that PureSoftware works in would be an advantage
