Purchasing Manager - Food Manufacturing

Urgently looking for ' Purchasing Manager' for a reputed FMCG food manufacturing client.

Education: MBA Agribusiness / supply chain

Experience: We are looking for someone with minimum 4-8 years of experience in sourcing of raw materials like sugar / wheat / milk powders / spices / additives / potato flakes / flavors etc, Packaging material sourcing knowledge/ experience will be an added advantage.

Reporting : The manager will report to the General Manager - Operations

Job Description:

- Complete Ownership of Raw Material (Primary), Packaging and Indirect Purchase for the company

- Price Negotiations

- New vendor development to support business requirements.

- Monitoring, tracking & cost optimizing the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned categories

- Support demand /supply/quality teams for smooth production supplies.

- Mitigate supplier issues along with RND and quality functions.

- Developing strategies for assigned procurement area to include spend analysis, market and geographic considerations, strategic importance etc.

- Implement appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company's purchased material costs and to assure an adequate source of supply
