Purchase Manager - Infrastructure/Construction

We at PeopleSense are looking for Purchase Manager with a Leading client in Infrastructure and Construction.

Position Reports to : VP Projects

Qualification:MBA in Material Management

Experience: 10 to 12 years

Location : Chattisgarh

Industry Background : Construction - preferably infrastructure

Objective of the Role:

- To efficiently (cost effective and timely) mange the procurement functions of Company.

Job Description:

Key Deliverables:

- Develop and implement purchase/sourcing policies

- Responsible for all the purchases on a pan India basis as per the allotted budget lines

- Supply Chain Management : Cost effective and timely management of the supply chain.

- Vendor/sub contractor development and management : Define vendor deliverable clearly in Purchase/work orders

- Tender Issue and management

- Responsible for Material/equipment quality

- Responsible for all the equipment AMCs

- Responsible for all legal contracts in reference to the purchase department

- Cost/benefit analysis

- Inventory Management

- Purchase MIS

- Responsible for all the logistic arrangements in reference to the procured material/equipment.

- Handling of all import related formalities as and when required.
