Purpose of the Job:  - Head of Planning would be responsible to implement and monitor the planning process across large scale residential/commercial projects to ensure efficient delivery of the engineering plan i.e. working out a sequence of activities required to complete projects and linking them all together using the resources to the best possible effect at minimum cost and in the safest manner.  Duties & Responsibilities:  - Preparation of Project Scheduling encompassing design, procurement, construction and commissioning of equipment across the scope of Projects.  - Monitoring and Driving of project schedules during execution.  - Set targets to achieve intermediate project milestones and coordinate with other verticals to ensure timely progress and deliverables  - Establish and maintain cost breakdown structure for budgets and other parameters for complete project scope based upon approved estimate.  - Support the construction project team through weekly, monthly status reports to keep senior management and primary stakeholders informed on the project planning progress.  - Foresee potential risks, proactively raise ‘red-flag’ to address and mitigate issues  - Devise mitigation plans in case of persistence of identified risk  - Coordination with the assigned Project Manager, Construction Management Team, and other groups as required.  Academic Qualification:  - Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering in Civil or Construction Management   Work Experience:  - 15-25 years of experience in the building construction industry working on high-rise structures (preferably residential buildings)  - Hands on experience on Primavera (preferred) OR MS Project  Primary Skills:  - 10+ years of project coordination or engineering experience.  - Knowledge of design standards and procedures would be an asset  - Creative Thinking and Problem solving Skills   - Good interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communications skills.   - Primavera / MS Project skills required. Exceptional MS Excel skills would be an asset.   - Well-developed communication and interpretation skills.   - Excellent facilitation and leadership abilities   - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.   - Eagerness to learn and risk taking ability  - Attention to Detail  Personal Attributes:  - High Level of Integrity  - Self - Starter  - Creative Leader who enjoys challenging work scenarios  - Team Player
