Urgent Opening for Operation Manager with Reputed FMCG, MNC Company

We have an Urgent Opening for Operation Manager with Reputed FMCG, Multi-National Company, dealing into Confectionery items.

Location : Ranjhangaon, Pune

Designation : Operation Manager.

Experience : Min 9 Years to Maximum 15 Years into Manufacturing set up of Food Industry.

Salary : Negotiable.

Job Description :

- Planning, organizing and managing direct and indirect operations such as manufacturing, purchase, quality, maintenance and logistic operations.

- Preparing the anual budget for Operations across sites and Assure business objectives in accordance with proposed budget and in line with productions schedules and quality standards.

- As a member of the Country Management team, creating the strategy for the future business opportunities to meet the overall business objectives including projects and capex purchases.

- Achievement of daily/ weekly/ monthly production targets, inventory management and cost control, implementing and sustaining safety at sites

- Optimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, chemicals and capex. Monitor and improve production processes, identify problems and take appropriate action for correction & prevention.

- Selection, training and motivation of staff and workers.

- Government liasioning, licencing and approvals related to manufacturing

- Timely reporting, generation and analysis of all MIS reports related to the department

- Lead the local and international sourcing for various sites in line with the global purchasing strategy and local purchase plan as per budgets and target maximum savings with quality purchase with focus on vendor empanelments.

- Manage and increase effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain network - improving on OTIF.

- Frequent interactions with key customers focusing on customer complaints and preventive measures to eliminate recurrence of quality and logistic complaints.

- Responsible for Project management and implementation of projects and capex purchase.

- Chair the crisis committee for the sites.

Skills Required :

- B Tech in Food / Dairy Technology / Chemical Tech.

- MBA in Operations, Supply Chain and International Sourcing will be added advantage.

- 10 + years work experience in manufacturing sector of which experience as a senior. Manager Operations/ Factory Manager in food / pharma industry for minimum 3 years.

- Well versed with SAP, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and other related concepts.

- Exposure to chocolate and confectionery manufacturing will be added advantage.

- MNC experience of 2 years at a middle managerial/ senior managerial level.

- Experience in being a part of green field / brown field projects will be added advantage.
