We have an interesting and challenging opportunity opened up for the role of Senior Manager in our Business Risk Advisory practice in Bangalore.   - The Senior Manager role in Risk Advisory is mission critical and requires multi-dimensional capabilities. Senior Managers identify business opportunities within their immediate client's business or across an industry.   - They are responsible for growing existing accounts and lead in attracting new business. They develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities.   - Senior Managers are instrumental in development of new solutions, methodologies and lead internal initiatives. They demonstrate subject-matter and industry expertise (deep understanding of the industry, emerging trends, issues& challenges, key players and leading practices).   - Senior Managers develop contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. They build valued relationships with clients and within their peer network.   - Seen as role models, they play a critical role in building a positive learning culture by coaching, mentoring, counselling and developing consulting personnel.   Key Responsibilities :   - Drive the business development process on new and existing client engagements.   - Identify buyers, influencers & stakeholders in existing client engagements and build strong relationships. Gain access to key contacts and lead proposal preparation. Identify opportunities for cross-selling to current clients.   - Assist Managing Directors in driving the account management agenda by focusing on high impact opportunities. Create innovative insights for clients, adapts methods & practices to fit operational team needs and contributes to thought leadership.   - Work with high-growth clients and other market leaders from multiple industries. Responsible for overall client service delivery in accordance with Protiviti quality guidelines & methodologies.   - Responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of governance, risk & compliance (GRC), internal audits, process reviews, standard operating procedures, enterprise risk management, revenue assurance, SOX 404 & Clause 49 assistance.   - Deploy the right team with adequate skill sets for executing engagements and periodically review status of engagements and work products. Ensure project findings are clear, concise and high quality work products. Lead presentations at Audit Committee meetings.   - Monitor engagement economics, ensure timely billing of invoices and actively follow-up on collections by managers.   - Contribute to new solution development. Conduct knowledge sharing discussions & contribute to Protiviti thought leadership.   - Represent the firm in various industry conferences and associations - network with individuals, contribute to key discussion items and explore business opportunities.   - Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements. Foster teamwork and innovation.   Desired Profile :   - Minimum 9+ years of post-qualification experience in risk advisory, internal audit, consulting, advisory, professional services and/or industry.   - Chartered Accountant (1st attempt preferred) /Certified Internal Auditor/Masters in Business Administration with Finance Specialization. and with a strong industry focus would be preferred.   - Outstanding understanding of business processes and internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT); knowledge of process gaps identification and auditing methodologies (including flowcharting), IT Infrastructure, Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance. Stays abreast of current business and economic developments and new pronouncements/standards relevant to industry.   - Excellent leadership, interpersonal, project management and client relationship skills. Proven business development skills with ability to procure new business.   - Proven execution skills with laser focus on quality of deliverables. Demonstrates strong project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.   - Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills.   - Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment required. Well-honed mentoring and people development skills.   - Able to think laterally, showcase business acumen and well versed in current trends and developments across business & economy.   - Demonstrates creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems.   - Able to maintain a professional demeanor in times of high stress.
