Founded in 1948, Robert Half International is a member of the S&P 500 index.  - The India member firm of Protiviti (www.protiviti.com), is a leading provider of Consulting Domain: We undertake projects in the areas of Internal Audit, Risk Consulting, IT consulting, Data Analytics, Forensics, business consulting, taxation & regulatory affairs, financial reporting, and transaction services.  Role Objective :  The primary responsibility of the position, Deputy Manager (IT & Infrastructure Management), is to effectively manage IT infrastructure systems across offices in India.   Role Responsibilities :  The key responsibilities of the candidate include :   - Own the scoping, architecture and design of new infrastructure that will support Protiviti business.  - Architect, monitor, and maintain Active Directory related services, File Services, Server Infrastructure, WAN/LAN/WLAN supporting business-critical systems.  - Troubleshoot and quickly resolve network issues.  - Set daily objectives/priorities and manage regional IT resources at various India offices accordingly to these business objectives  - Ensure performance, reliability, and transparency of all aspects of infrastructure elements.  - Be responsible for server, storage, network, security and monitoring hardware, software and services ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance and scalability.  - Forecasts demand for storage, computing and network capacity and takes appropriate action before capacity limits are reached.  - Provide support to, manage, and train team in IT Infrastructure administration and usage.  - Be responsible for maintenance of IT hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring.   - Define, implement, test, and maintain data back-up protocols to ensure availability.  - Be accountable for measuring and optimizing application and infrastructure performance, and to initiate and lead recovery actions after system failures.  - Project plan with clear and concise communication methods.  - Monitor and maintain infrastructure stability (KPI's).  - Prepare and maintain documentation of IT Infrastructure.  - Maintain Infrastructure equipment inventory and manage hardware life-cycle.  - Establish and/or maintain corporate IT infrastructure standards in regards to configuration and security.  - Make sure IT governance, audit and compliance requirements are met.  Required Skills :  The candidate will have experience in one of the following areas :   - Proficient understanding of IP networking: Cisco, TCP/IP, Window Server, Network Security, Cloud Servers that includes technical and functional understanding of network security, VOIP, WAN, LAN, and internet routing and switching protocols, wireless and VPN capabilities.  - Demonstrated Data Center/Server Room build out experience (Power, Network, Cooling, etc...)  - Expertise in VMware ESX, SAN, Monitoring tools, and Operating Systems (strong understanding of Windows)  - Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and supervise junior members of the team.  - Must possess the initiative to resolve issues before they become critical.  - Strong written communication skills including documentation.  Work Experience & Education :  - Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer science, Information Technology or related field preferred with 6 years of experience in IT out of which, at least 1-2 years in a similar role.  - Experienced in contract and vendor management  - IT related certifications (Microsoft, ITIL) - Optional (CISCO, CISSP, VMware, etc )  Location : Gurgaon
