Details about the position :
Position : Project Manager
Location : Bangalore
Requisites :
- MBA from top-tier institution
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in project management, technology or business-related field
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Certification
- Proficiency with Quality Improvement, Process Improvement, and Operations
Responsibilities :
- Plan and supervise activities for multiple, small-scale and large-scale projects
- Set and manage project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged on the project
- Initiate and drive project planning activities such as Statement of Work and Management (WBS, Project Change Control, SOW), Stakeholder Identification and matrix Human Resource Management, Risk & Issues Management, Communication Management, etc.
- Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring resource estimates, overall project timeline, project milestones, task dependencies and critical path
- Control and track project performance in respect to Time, Cost, and Quality by constantly evaluating project progress, conducting regular team status meetings, reporting project status on periodic basis to management and the project team, executing and updating management plans as necessary, resolving and documentation of issues
- Assess change readiness and prepare plans for helping stakeholders through change
- Prepare detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project deliverables
- Identifying critical areas for improvement
- Execute complex process and quality improvement initiatives affecting multiple functions or businesses
- Report and communicate the results from process improvement efforts to the leadership
- Utilize various process improvement tools and methodologies to define activities that are aligned with business objectives
- Ensure deployment of common solutions across locations
- Deliver significant operational improvement and financial benefits to meet annual targets
- Monitor performance and improvement in key metrics
- Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations
- Establish improvement goals and objectives
- Define metrics, measure results and establish standard reporting
