Project Manager - Decision Analytics - Statistician

Our direct client, a global business process solutions firm is seeking a Decision Analytics Project Manager Jersey City NJ/New York City.

Duration: Permanent/Full-time role with the client.

Position: Analytics /Consultant /Manager

- Emphasis is on end product delivery of analysis and guiding junior staff-

Role:

- Provide business acumen, structure and hypothesis

- Engaged in business development efforts and market research based new service offering creations.

Responsibilities:

- Expert in Statistical modeling, Statistical Analysis, Analytical Pricing and Asset Model Validation.

- Evaluate the statistical methods, develop techniques and computer algorithms for data analysis, thoughtful leadership focused on helping client(s) improve modeling predictability, analytics driven strategy development, operational efficiency and compliance in all consumer assets such as Mortgages, Auto Finance & Cards.

Qualifications:

- PhD or Masters in Statistics /Econometrics/Economics/Mathematics/Operations Research or related is a plus!

- Superior problem solving skills preferably in a consulting environment.

- Proficiency in additional tools/languages like: SAS, Alteryx, KNIME, R, CART/Decision Trees, Matlab, Python, Java, C++, etc

- Keen interest in learning new Predictive modeling techniques, methodologies, tools /computer languages and platforms
