S/he will play a key and active role in making initiatives a success. It would start with formalising an appropriate project management process, its institutionalisation, definition of charter, templates and check-lists, organise structured reviews and follow-through them to closure.
Governance, reporting, risk management would be additional functions of the PMO. And, any best practices that is needed for a PMO to support initiative leaders to drive desired outcome in projects. While this is a supportive and enabling role, this would directly with senior management of the foundation. In essence, the PMO will be at the centre, helping the initiative leaders to manage projects to deliver on schedule, keeping scope and costs in perspective
Incumbent should have at least 10 years hands-on experience as a successful Project Manager and 2 years of experience in running and operating in a PMO.
MBA/CA from a top tier Indian institutes or foreign institute.
Bachelors degree (Honours) from a reputed college/ university.
A PMI qualification would be an added bonus.
