We are interested in a strong technical candidate for a role which will be an amalgamation of Project Management & Programming; covering the Automated Trading business of the client.This is a role which will be part of the Global Compliance Division and also a part of a niche team that plays a central role and is responsible for helping the company to manage its reputational and regulatory risk,specifically focusing in risk in the automated trading space.  The team works closely with the quantitative modeling and analytics group to manage automated trading risks for eg: (Market Impact, Order Throttle) to general regulatory risks and span across all automated trading platforms; from equities to FX. To address these risks, the Firm has established an automated trading control framework that consists of control design, automated testing, governance and monitoring. A key component of this framework is independent validation of the controls that have been implemented to properly address the identified risks.   The role initially will be:  - Assist with defining governance processes and tools  - Assist with project management and coordination of reviews  - Assist with preparing presentations for senior management  - Evaluate the control design and regression tests where appropriate  - Execute validation steps across all automated trading businesses  - Make recommendations for changes where appropriate. The team is constantly evolving and so does the coverage of the team hence the role will also grow.  Requirements:  - Experience in analyzing client needs, designing and implementing process improvement solutions.  - Strong analytical skills; ability to identify / articulate problem statement and devise practical solutions  - Strong project management skills and ability to drive initiatives working across various functions / stakeholders  - Excellent presentation skills and ability to have a dialog with senior management  - Strong excel skills and ability to perform data analysis  - Programming Skills - Object Oriented Programming, familiarity with Testing Frameworks - Junit, Boost Regression Test suite is a plus
