(including MNP)   Position : Program Manager - Vendor Management  Role Definition :  - The Program Manager (PM) position is responsible for executing business outsourcing plans based on the company's strategic direction.   - The PM is expected to manage selected vendor projects and relationships related to the design, development, testing and deployment of selected products as defined by product management.   - The PM must coordinate communications among the outsourcing service provider and the Company internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Legal, Product Management, IT, etc.)  - This individual must make sure that all requirements, such as service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), financial targets, penalties, and incentives are clearly contained in the contract documents, such as the statement of work (SoW), the contract, and supporting attachments and addenda.   - The individual will also be responsible for managing the compliance to the contract documents. The PM drives best practices and monitors value realization.   - This individual articulates and executes a roadmap to achieve financial objectives, addressing P&L budgeting, budget adherence, invoice approval, and ad hoc cost analysis.  - The PM will monitor, measure, and report on the quality and performance of outsourced providers to ensure that iconectiv receives excellent service and the vendors meet contractual obligations.   - The right candidate will have a high degree of personal motivation, good leadership capability, a deep understanding of outsource provider relationship management, and a strong personal work ethic.   - The right candidate will have demonstrated success in negotiating contracts, communicating concerns, enforcing compliance, and resolving issues in a timely, favorable manner.  - This individual must have a track record of sustaining established relationships while continually improving processes and performance to maximize value. Ideally, the candidate will be a strong negotiator, a master of building and leading in a team-oriented culture, and a model of influencing peer-group behavior and promoting collaboration regarding service quality and communication.   Reports to :  - Functionally reports to Senior Director Global Program Management at US, local reporting to Corporate Office in Gurgaon as operating subsidiary in India.  Location : Position will be based in Gurgaon, India.   Travel :  - Significant travel to vendor sites in Bangalore on a frequent basis. Travel to the USA will also be required on a regular basis.   Direct Reports : None  Key Responsibility Areas :  - Execute business process outsourcing plans based on company's strategic direction  - Ensure service level agreements and metrics are achieved per governing contracts/statements of work  - Execute road-map to achieve financial objectives - P&L budgeting, budget adherence, invoice approval, and ad hoc cost analysis  - Drive best practices, implement process improvements, and monitor value realization  - Ensure standard operating procedures are documented, updated, and accessible  - Drive development of statements of work, amendments, and other contractually related items as required to support programs including drafting language if/when necessary  - Lead contract change process, including facilitating/coordinating  - Track completion and/or adherence to all contract deliverables and obligations  - Serve as escalation point for contractual disputes and interpretation and on-going contractual adherence  - Facilitate resolutions of all contract-related issues, as well as interpret and clarify contract elements with legal partners  - Ensure new vendor on-boarding and transition activities are executed successfully  - Manage to tight timelines  - Internal reporting of program metrics and status.  - Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned   Qualifications & Experience :  - Prefer a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University with a technical, business or management focus.  - A minimum of 8 years of previous experience in IT, partner management, or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years experience managing a third-party vendor (outsource)   - Evidence of deep operational, business, and industry (outsourcing) knowledge, as well as application of outsourcing/vendor management best practices  Proven success managing the complete vendor life cycle, including :   - Negotiating contract terms, with an attention to commercial terms  - Contract authoring and editing  - Vendor relationship and performance management  - Process improvement through indirect leadership of third-party partners  - Proven ability in negotiating contracts that contain favorable terms and adequately establish expectations for SLA, KPIs, penalties, and incentives  - Demonstrated success in project management and delivering on time, within budget, with the desired scope  - Demonstrated ability to exert leadership through interpersonal and influencing skills  - Exhibits relentless attention to detail  - Highly motivated team player.  - Self-starter that has the ability to work with minimal oversight as required.  - Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, both technical and non-technical  - Ability to manage technical, business and sensitive customer issues through clear communications, broad awareness to independently develop resolution paths and manage their execution  - Telecom background is a plus  - Graduate/ Post graduate. Technical background preferred  - Project management skills to organize, track, refine and execute project activities  - Demonstrated ability to understand customer contracts and project requirements and how to develop plans to meet them  - PMI/PMP certification would be a plus  - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word software, Microsoft Project   - Strong Project/Program management, Vendor management, Risk Analysis & Management and Client Management skills  - Highly adaptable and strong ability to work with all levels of people and environments, interacting and coordinating with multicultural collocated and remotely-located technical teams.
