Job Description:  - This person will work across a cross functional team to ensure that export compliance is maintained and will be responsible for defining export compliance (trade, product etc.) requirements for sellers selling globally as well as translating these into processes for sellers to be compliant and make the complexities of cross-border trade easier for the seller community.   - This business will play an important role in company’s mission to be the place where customers can find and discover anything they want to buy on Earth.   - The ideal candidate has experience is cross border trade or international export/trade compliance, understands the processes, regulations, compliance and operations required in selling internationally.   - This candidate must be highly organized and be able to prioritize effectively.   - The candidate must also possess strong analytical acumen and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data.   - The candidate must be savvy with MS Office (particularly Excel) and be receptive to working with new tools and databases.   - The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.   Primary Responsibilities:   - Compile list of compliance requirements from a trade, product, regulatory perspective for sellers and develop processes around these that make it easier for sellers to sell globally   - Work with other compliance teams to ensure alignment   - Manage and maintain export policies and procedures for global sellers and drive continuous improvements thereof   - Manage export documentation requirements, compliance and record keeping   - Create metrics   - Provide expertise on export regulations and best practices   - Work with internal teams identify and drive enhancements   - Monitor upcoming regulatory changes. Make appropriate changes to internal processes and documents to remain compliant with customs laws and regulations.
