Production Planner - FMCG

Production Planner is required for a reputed FMCG Company based at Bangalore.

The incumbent will be responsible for -:

Production Execution

1. Coordinate with factory/ procurement representative to ensure production as per agreed plan;

2. Prepare plan v/s actual manufacturing report and generate manufacturing adherence metrics

3. Prepare factory ranking report on a monthly basis and send the report to category manufacturing manager;

4. Analyze the gaps/issues in the factory and provide possible recommendations to solve the issues;

5. Communicate to factory the recommended solutions;

6. Monitor and review the implementation of solutions recommended IN ORDER TO ensure market serviceability

Manufacturing Planning

Analyze manufacturing demand (STR) and generate manufacturing requirement for all different factories, if demand is unfulfilled or beyond capacity, basis freight and manufacturing constraints carry out source re-allocation and generate Manufacturing Plan

Send to category manufacturing manager for approval

Finalize the Manufacturing plan and communicate to all stake holder - Factory Operation, Procurement.

Collate and review day wise plan created by each factory according to the run cycle

Consolidate daily manufacturing reports from different factories (plan v/s actual) and provide a day wise/ factory wise manufacturing update to category manufacturing manager

Capture issues and highlight for corrective actions.

RCCP Planning

1. Evaluate STR communicated for SNOP WSP/order requirements against available capacity of the plant

2. If required carry source re-allocation and generate T Lane change requirement

3. Circulate manufacturing requirement to procurement, factory and category manufacturing manager

4. Collate exceptional SKU list for discussion in S&OP

New Product Commercialization

1. Coordinate with PD, packaging development, quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure readiness of new product to be manufactured;

2. Update master data code for new SKU based on information from brand team; Update SAP master plan for new production post receipt of bill of material (BOM);

3. Plan for new manufacturing process post receiving the BOM; Validate artwork for accuracy of factory address;

4. Coordinate with marketing and TM & D teams to finalize the final production numbers basis the demand and supply network IN ORDER TO ensure updation of details in the master code data/SAP database and smooth new product manufacturing process

The incumbent should be post graduate in Operations / Industrial Engineering from NITIE from 2012 / 2013 / 2014 passout batch. The incumbent should have relevant experience in Production Planning and Demand Planning in a reputed FMCG / CPG Company.
