Product Mgr - Retail Remittances -Outward and Inward, Payments and distribution

For Largest Private Bank

Location:Mumbai

Key Deliverables:

- Managing Inward and outward remittance products - Wire Transfer, Foreign Currency Cheques, DD, etc

- Responsible for optimizing performance of all payments and distribution channels of all inward cross border retail remittances to increase the competitive advantage at originating countries

- Account transfers/ electronic transfers to other banks / card transfers / cash payouts / VISA & Mastercard

- Managing team of 3-4 product managers

- Engage and manage relationships with correspondent banks /partners for enhancing business

- Exploring, conceptualizing and building new product propositions

- Understanding key business drivers and developing business plans in accordance with unit and company objectives

- Tie up with new correspondents including banks / partners and undertake the following that entails setting up new relationship:

- Pricing negotiations and commercial discussions

- Agreement finalization and execution

- Preparation of product notes and coordination with various teams like operations, compliance, legal, technology, fraud prevention, AML etc for inputs and approval

Key skills:

Good communication skills, Analytical skills, Negotiation skills etc...

Competencies:

- Working knowledge of Power point and excel

- Results driven – possesses an ability to find solutions to difficult problems quickly and effectively

- Process orientation – ability to perform within existing systems and processes, while project managing for process improvement

- Interpersonal effectiveness and ability to influence – ability to interpret data and articulate to convince others

Person Requirements:

MBA Tier1/2 colleges - (full time) with 2+ yrs of relevant experience

- CA

- Graduates with 10+ yrs of experience

- Age limit 40 yrs.
