About Our Client :

Our client is a very renowned name within the auto parts market. They specialize in auto parts like batteries, brakes, pistons, shockers, cylinders etc. for automobiles. They're looking at rapidly expanding their business and want to hire a Product Manager who can look after their portfolio of auto parts.

Job Description :

Reporting directly into the Executive Director - APAC, your key responsibilities will be :

- Handling an Automobile Auto Parts portfolio

- Identifying the right vendors for providing specific auto components, and helping in developing them

- Travelling to Asian markets to interact with preferred vendors

- Analyzing two wheeler auto parts market trends in the South East Asia region

- Liaising with several national and international stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant :

- You will be a Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of work experience, in the automobiles sector handling supply chain mandates like Procurement/Sourcing/Vendor management/International Trading. Further, you'll have an exposure to the Chinese auto parts vendor base. Knowledge of Chinese language (Mandarin/Cantonese) would be a big plus. In addition to this, you'll have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
