Product Manager - Mobile VAS @ Gurgaon, India  Our client is developing some cutting-edge mobile apps and they are backed by major names in telecom and IT space. They need to fill the following position asap.  Position : Product Manager - Mobile VAS  Education : Engg from a Tier 1 institute ( MBA preferred but not mandatory )  Experience : 3 - 6 Years  Location : Gurgaon  Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience ( your current CTC should be 12 L+ )  Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :  - Responsibilities will include Preparation of product plan with financial targets and actions. Ownership of the product and its P and L statement. Oversee and manage the product on daily basis. Continuously tracking and monitoring the competition and preparing benchmark report on the same.   - Collaborate with usability and technology team to develop a deep understanding of customers, identify gaps in core product functionality and help build right set of features and track adoption for same. Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions, if needed.   - Gather detailed functional requirements and create product requirement (PRDs) and other documents to support rapid development and effectively manage trade-offs between costs / schedules versus customer benefits.   - Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wire-frames are properly translated to live site and drive problem resolution once new features have gone live. Define and conduct market research to gain better understanding about user behaviour and competition.  - Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action. Engage in defining a strategic creative direction for product and marketing communication.   - Provide analytics based insights to help marketing team optimize marketing spends. Champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support team, oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shoot in case of escalations.   - Work with various support teams to manage operational issues such as fulfillment, external partner relationships, legal and other compliances. Work with finance and accounting team to identify key cost and revenue drivers for product areas, obtain financial evaluations from finance team for new business options.  - Candidate should be a Bachelors in Engineering / IT (preferably Computer Science). MBA preferred but not mandatory.   - 3-6 years of experience in a techno business role.   - Experience with a start-up will be preferred.   - Past experience in an internet company or in product management roles is a great plus.  - A high level of interest and passion for consumer internet world is a necessary criterion.   - Passionate product champion who loves entertainment/media. Understands tech/product/business and straddle all.
