Product Manager - HNW - Classic Banking

PURPOSE

The Incumbents role would be to monitor performance of Classic PBs across branch channel to deliver on all the important portfolio objectives. This is done basis various actionable MISs, trend analysis, Zonal concalls, branch visits, providing all the necessary information that the channel would require to improve their performance on a timely basis.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The incumbent is responsible for creating and finalizing budgets for all the PBs across branch channel taking in to consideration current achievements and market potential.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that minimum 70% PBs meet the YTD income plan.

The incumbent needs to identify bottom performing PBs and ensure that proper directives are given to ensure these PBs meet their YTD Income benchmark

The incumbent is responsible for enhancing liability values in the portfolio through new acquisition, enhancement and by necessary activities to prevent attrition, activation of inactive/ dormant customers

The incumbent is responsible for increasing the coverage of the programme through identification of processes to improve new acquisition

The incumbent is also responsible to ensure that all the PBs managing the portfolio have cleared the PB certification module which covers tests on Basic Banking and Classic Banking.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring 100% PB positions being manned in the branch - Staffing model to ensure the maximum optimization of resource for better

The incumbent is responsible to ensure that all the portfolios meet the benchmark size in order to contact the portfolio customers effectively and efficiently

The incumbent is responsible to ensure automation of complex MIS's in order to improve efficiency and reduce scope for manual errors. The person must also be innovative in introducing newer MIS's which would add value to the channel

The incumbent needs to monitor various zones, identify gaps and directives for meeting the overall portfolio objectives through concalls and branch visits

CONTEXT OF THE NATURE OF WORK

- Tracking, reviewing and monitoring of PB performance is done. Concern areas and gaps are identified and highlighted to the concerned PB's and their respective supervisors. Actionables with time lines are noted and reviewed to improve performance.

- Monitoring, Tracking and reviewing of liability balances on monthly basis and ensure gaps are identified and are worked upon with actionables to enhance the base and minimise the depletion.

- Coordination with customer intelligence units to identify cross sell opportunities and improve sales into the classic portfolio.

- Constantly review and highlight areas to be worked on in the classic portfolio to improve business, customer profitability and income.
