Product Manager - eCommerce - Startup

Our client is a eCommerce based Start up product development company in Delhi and is looking for Product Manager

Experience: 3-8 years

Crux of the JD:

- To understand customer needs and pain points and hence define the product working with cross functional teams

- To Identify the metrics for the product and the business to rigorously measure and improve them

- To work closely with supplier-facing contracting team, analyse past demand-supply curve to forecast future requirements, and hence help secure and structure best deals and sufficient inventory for the customers

- Assume ownership of products including defining scope and developing requirements for new and advanced products as well as upgrades and progressive releases for existing products.

- Work in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support and engineering teams.

- Continuously tracking and monitoring the competition and preparing benchmark report on the same.

- Collaborate with usability and technology team to develop a deep understanding of customers, identify gaps in core product functionality and help build right set of features and track adoption for same

- Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions if needed

- Define and conduct market research to gain better understanding about user behaviour and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action

- Provide analytics based insights to help marketing team optimize marketing spends

Educational Qualifications:

- B.E. (preferably Computer Science/IT) from Tier -1

- MBA preferred but not mandatory

Relevant Experience:

- Hands on ability to execute independently. Do-It-Yourself attitude is a must - ideally should have worked in a start-up environment.

- Must be able to simplify, solve and illustrate complex workflow problems to automate manual actions and decision points.

- Should have been involved in Product Development in IT Sector or Implementing In-House / Third Party Systems for Supply Chain.
