Title / Position Product Line Manager - Revenue Assurance
Mission:
The Product Manager (PLM) is responsible for the Revenue Assurance product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, creating and managing the product roadmap, defining the product vision, and working closely with the Technical Product Manager, Roadmap engineering team, sales, BSC, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Deliver BRDs (Business Requirements Documentation) and Roadmap information with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Be an expert with respect to the competition
- Act as a leader within the company
- Candidate will interface with regional teams to continue to understand market changes and needs, and will translate those into roadmap priorities as appropriate.
Competencies:
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of current strategies with respect to Revenue Assurance programs, domains, and best practices
- Ability to understand and recommend different program models for executing RA - including licensed and managed service models
- Strong presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
- Ability to generate messaging that will help establish Client as the thought leader in this domain
- Leadership and communication skills, to facilitate strong working relationships with internal departments (engineering, marketing, sales, etc.)
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Good knowledge of various mobile, fixed, and data networks as it pertains to RA practices and strategies
- Understanding of the business problems Client is working to solve with the RA services/solution offering
- Working knowledge of similar competitive products/offers
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Network architecture, OSS, and BSS background
- Familiarization with difference between various networks, including mobile, fixed, data, etc.
Education:
- Field experience in networks as described above is most important. Understanding the business value being offered by Client solutions, and how to grow that value, is key
Other factors:
- Must be able to travel globally, and be able to have and maintain a current passport (expect 10% travel or less
