Product Head
Job purpose & Scope Business Planning :
- Develop blue print for the business with target Top Line and Bottom Line Grow the products in revenue and market share through well-developed business plans
Major Areas of Responsibilities :
Profit Planning :
- Plan yearly budget in alignment with the business plans and manage the cash flow to ensure profitability
- Constantly monitor Product Decisions, Pricing Policy, Channel Mix, Sales Plan, Marketing Plan to improve Gross Margin levels
- Align with the key stakeholders to ensure that the projected Gross Margins are achieved
- Analyze and update all concerned data regarding all the key variables that impact Gross Margin Product Planning:
- Provider leadership and direct product planning
- Devise and plan product strategies to ensure growth on the top line and bottom line, and spread is achieved
- Devise and implement product mix & pricing strategies
- Review on key performance parameters to ensure effective delivery on business requirements
- Tract the activities of the team through various reports and analysis and provide immediate feedback to the team on areas requiring focus
- Develop a renovation plan / road map for product portfolio.
- Continuously benchmark portfolio with competition & ensure lead in differentiated products
- Industry, Competitive Analysis - Identify opportunities
- Develop Market intelligence Cross Team Management: Operational Support to Sales, Service, Logistics & SCM Teams - Provide support to the sales team with solutions for speeding up execution
- Establish trade relationships by meeting key accounts and engaging in open discussions
- Monitor and keep a track on the activities of Supply Chain Management to ensure delivery as per plan Person Specifications
Essential Qualification : MBA from premium institutes
Desired Qualification : MBA from premium institutes ( preferably top 10)
Experience : 10-15 Yrs.
Industry Preference : FMCG/CD
