Position Purpose: Operational and people leadership for IT-Infrastructure Service functions of Network Security and Information Security administration.  Role Expectations:  1. Operational leadership: Manage one or more Security specific IT-Infrastructure Service functions like - Network Security management- and - Information Security administration- . Reviewing & allocating tasks/ project queues. Guiding team on escalated issues. Ensuring responses and meeting SLAs on various severity levels. Regularly reviewing quality in consultation with Home Office teams. Supervising teams to attend IT-Security requests, change requests, exceptions, audits, projects as per business needs and schedules.  2. People Management: Performance Appraisals, Feedbacks and development plans for the teams. Identification of training needs, plan & drive trainings for team. Mentoring team members. Managing / driving Change.  3. Status reporting, metrics capture & analysis. Establish and continually improve management and execution processes including risk management, communication, quality & service levels.  4. Act as local leader contact at Pune office, to remotely assist respective IT-Infrastructure teams & leadership of US Home Office. Regular interactions, effective coordination and influencing home office leadership and stakeholders for the functional areas.  Dimensions:  This position will usually have 10 to 15 direct reports and will be responsible for theiroperational & personnel management.  Needs to handle projects with various types of skillsets and technologies as well as distributed teams.  Reporting Relationship (Job Titles Only):  This position reports to: Manager - IS Services  Direct Reports: Analysts/ Sr. Analysts  Know-How/Skill Sets:  Education: Bachelor's degree/ 15 years formal education with inclination towards computers/ IT Infrastructure support and Security.  Experience: 6-10 years of work experience in IT-infrastructure/ IT-Security services domain. Out of which at least 2-4 yrs. in mid-management position.  Skill: People Orientation, Leadership Qualities, Team Motivator, Excellent Communication and Time Management skills. Must have good Interpersonal and Excellent Customer Service Skills.  Required Skills  - Strong understanding of IT-Infrastructure Service functions and support environments.  - Strong understanding of Network Security Management and Information Security administration areas.  - Ability to effectively lead and manage team of 10-12 professionals.  - Good aptitude and positive attitude. Ability to troubleshoot.  - Ability to network/ communicate with stakeholders in the US to ensure alignment with operational standards.  - Ability to network with internal customers.
