Principle consultant -SCM
Role :
- The role is of a Principal Consultant - Business Transformation Services. The role assists clients to determine their business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. It uses in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge aligned to business objectives, processes, measurements and tools to analyze client business challenges, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities :
As a Principal Consultant in the BTS team, you will
- Lead and manage large and complex Innovation & Transformation engagements in understanding 'as is' business processes, design 'to-be' processes, analyze/ capture client requirements and pain areas by conducting workshops if necessary, perform fit gap analysis, carry out bench-marking studies, resolve complex requirements.
- Provide consulting support to solve business problems in supply chain domain (especially order management and other customer service operations) for our global clients leveraging Transformation methodologies and assets.
- Lead and participate large-scale transformation projects .Work proactively with Client stakeholders to refine their current business processes or develop a new operating model in line with competitive and market forces. Also identify strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain one or more sources of competitive advantage.
- These capabilities may come in the form of process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge. They identify best practices and client performance gaps, if any.
- Leverage tools to identify, align, and change the factors that affect performance, stability, and teaming and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations.
- Develop methodologies to support transformation projects, creates tools, templates, frameworks and other knowledge artifacts
Key Skills Required :
This role requires the following skills, expertise and experience :
- Strong consulting skills and business acumen in addition to quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Supply Chain Domain Expertise including Order Management, Supply Chain Planning including Demand Planning, Supply
- Planning, S&OP, Distribution, Inventory Planning, Logistics planning & execution, supply chain performance management.
- Exposure to Manufacturing operations especially with Aerospace, Automotive, Heavy Industrial Equipment OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Demonstrated experience working with complex business process outsourcing, originating or delivering managed service opportunities.
- Creativity and resourcefulness and will utilize innovative solutions to deliver superior business outcomes for clients
- Flexibility to ensure working hours overlap with operations team as required to identify and execute transformation activities
What We Are Looking For :
Basic :
- MBA from a Tier 1 college with minimum defined grades and at least 10 years of experience after MBA in the fields related to the Job Description.
Preferred :
- Strong Consulting and program management skills and demonstrated experience in managing teams across functions and geographies
- Experience in Consulting /Big4 firms
