Principal Consultant – Business Consulting

1.Project Execution and Delivery :

a.Ownership and management of projects, plan, execute and deliver on agreed specific functional competence covering entire spectrum of consulting engagements including supply chain optimization, process design, network design, warehouse design, WMS or Lighthouse Implementation, etc.

b.People Management: Mentoring and managing resources, identifying contractors and leading initiatives to ensure competency building within the team. Feedback and appraisals for reportees, grooming candidates and creating a healthy work environment

c.Responsible for project profitability and timely delivery for customer satisfaction. Manage and mitigate risks likely to impact the project outcomes proactively

2.Business Development: Lead business development by creating and managing prospects and business leads and opportunities. Develop the various market segments - secondary research database and reports, meeting prospects, managing dipstick studies etc. to enable development of the market segment. Write white papers to increase organizational visibility in the markets and in preparing for various client pitches.

3.Product Innovation: Support product innovation in strengthening current products or developing frameworks and models for new products planned.

4.Knowledge Management: Carry out knowledge management for all engagements and product innovation thought processes.

5.Organization Building: Support other organization building activities as the need be.

Basic Competencies and Skills

1.In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain concepts, tools, systems and processes

2.Market and business understanding across industries, sectors, trends

3.Proficiency in Microsoft tools, strong analytic skills

4.Appreciation of the financial aspects of the business

5.Change management and people handling skills

Requirements

Engineers

Relevant experience of 8+ years

Post Graduate in Management from Tier 1 B-Schools (IIMs, SPJain, NITIE, XLRI, MDI etc.)

Additional certifications will be a plus
