Principle Architect  We are looking for Principle Architect for a trade loyalty and consumer engagement company which helps several Fortune 500 companies create and manage their channel loyalty and consumer engagement programs.   Job responsibilities :  - Develop systems for the client and manipulation of hundreds of terabytes of data  - Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of data ingestion, storage, and retrieval processes  - Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to construct creative solutions for their machine learning, analysis and visualization tasks  - Develop the right query abstractions for flexible access and processing of data across a heterogeneous set of storage and compute engines.  - Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes  - Own the functional and nonfunctional scaling of software systems in your ownership area. Drive Technology & Good Engineering Practices in the teams.  Desired experience :  - Technical Breadth, Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces, technologies.  - Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.  - Extensive experience working with large data stores. Demonstrated excellence architecting and designing large distributed systems.  - Expert knowledge developing and debugging in Java on - nix  - Familiar with Big Data stack Hadoop/Pig/HBase and MapReduce/Storm/Apache Spark  - Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent. MS or PhD is a plus.
