S/he would be primarily responsible for leading implementation and operations of the HR strategy pan India and aligning it with the global functional strategy.   - S/He would be responsible for creation of the HR strategy for the India region, providing the HR contribution to the short and long term business objectives, aligned with the global business strategy & policy.  - Be the business leader with HR subject matter expertise & align HR best practices to business needs employee expectations and drive alignment with Global practices.   - Drive Organizational Change through effective Partnering with Business Leaders to achieve the short-term and Long Term Objectives.   - Develop and Implement Talent Management Strategies to develop Leadership Capabilities, Succession Pipeline and Technical Capabilities to meet the Growth Requirement of the country.   - Be an active mentor and coach for senior management on people and business practices. Coach senior leaders and managers on people management and HR challenges   - Work towards enhancing business performance through efficient business partnering in order to create a High Performance Organization.   - Carry out Organizational Diagnosis and develop action plans to effectively improve and drive employee engagement across the Organization.   - Create effective analytical tools & reports to analyze employee information and focus on ways to proactively improve and enhance HR Delivery Model.   - S/ He would be responsible for contributing to strategies in Industrial Relations planning, and would be responsible for dealing with labour unions & I.R related issues.   - Enable managers & leaders with proactive solutions to address people challenges and foster positive work environment   - Identify HR intervention needs, create appropriate programs, actively participate in HR interventions & projects and ensure timely completion.   - Build HR Capability to meet the Business Challenges and Effectively Lead the country HR Team which comprises of HR Generalists and HR Professionals in the Centers of Excellence (COE).  Desired Skills and Experience:  - MBA (HR and Industrial Relations) from good institution or university with 21-25 years of work experience across domains of HR in a manufacturing organization, Strictly with Engineering / Automobile Industry.  - Minimum experience with 3000 plus workforce or 2500 Cr Turnover organization  - Minimum 9+ years of experience in HR leadership role working with the Executive Management of an organization, and with team management responsibilities.   - Experience of Working in MNC / Big Indian organizations is highly preferred.
