Roles & Responsibilities :

- Provide strategic HR Business Partner support to business unit leaders and corresponding India employee base within the UCC Engineering organization

- Design strategic HR programs and solutions, for business unit needs, that can be replicated globally, with an emphasis on talent and organizational development, underlying talent problem identification and recommended solutions, employee relations, and talent/skills enhancement

- Provide operational support and guidance to managers of the functional organization on the full range of HR policies and practice, including; recruitment, training & development, change management, employee relations, compensation, benefits.

- Utilizes knowledge of Human Resources, legal, and regulatory requirements in conjunction with market best practice to ensure business unit compliance and competitiveness

- Drive methods for effective talent and succession planning processes to provide for proactive identification and development of Leaders for future roles.

- Educate management team on compensation practices including salary and stock ranges, performance review processes, performance rating process, new hire compensation packages, and promotions

- Work with management team on workforce planning and effective staffing strategies to select and hire only top talent

- Partner and collaborate with the COEs and HR Business Partner team to develop value-added programs in areas of training, development, and retention and job performance.

- Execute COE designed programs and global HR initiatives for the business unit.

- Develop and use workforce analytics and business metrics to track the success of HR programs and initiatives.

Site HR Manager Addendum:

- Provide HR guidance and support to over 350 employees across India and employees on the full range of HR policies and practices

- Provide coaching and guidance to the Site Leadership committee focusing on developing and fostering innovative site culture

- Proactively seek creative ideas to enhance site employee engagement and provide coaching and guidance to the Site Champions team

- Provide monthly updates and communication to employees at site meetings

- Work in partnership with Facilities Management to address issues that impact employee health and wellbeing and utilize change management tools to implement appropriate interventions as necessary

- Partner with the management team to continually evaluate and develop all employees within the organization, i.e., career planning, mentoring programs, and skill building

- Coordinate and execute HR initiatives though out the year such as Bring Your Child to Work Day, Annual Health Fair, Career Development Month, and the Intern Programs

- Single point of contact for remote HR counterparts all non-UCX Engineering India HR related issues

- Lead employee investigations and resolutions for all site related employee issues

- Use workforce analytics to track and respond to site issues and make recommendations on HR programs and initiatives to address the issues

- Support new hire on boarding and termination actions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior HR BP role and a minimum of 10 years in Human Resources

- Experience proactively identifying HR opportunities and working in partnership with management to execute against an HR strategy

- Strong communication and presentation skills plus the ability to work in partnership with the global HR team on special projects or initiatives

- Fast pace, high energy, quick thinking, change oriented and able to work with ambiguity and autonomy

- Must have strong Organizational Development experience and the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills

- Must be familiar with Local Labor laws and policies of Hi Tech industry

- Must have a high degree of flexibility, the ability manage effectively with ambiguity and adapt within an ever changing work environment

- Individual will have effective interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills and must be knowledgeable of HRIS systems, PeopleSoft preferred
