Job Purpose :
The Executive is responsible to develop and drive the ER and IR Initiatives, through the identification and adoption of best practices in order to ensure the presence of a highly motivated, committed and engaged workforce.

Reporting Manager : Plant Manager / Head of Talent Management
Ideal Candidate profile and responsibilities :
- Ability to build a cohesive India Leadership Team.
- Extremely mature, articulate and persevering approach.
- Effective implementation of HR Policies and Processes at Unit as per the corporate guidelines.
- Ensure statutory and legal compliance across all manufacturing sites.
- Coordinate for all activities and arrange for required resources for Training Programs.
- Support the Corporate HR in execution of Performance Management System, SAPs, facilitate the review process at the Unit, coach the HODs if required, ensure timely submission off forms, counsel employees and bring in a closure to the process.
- Look into all matters pertaining to contractual labor as per the agreement with the contractor.
- Must have had the experience of successfully managing varied IR situations in diverse environments (militant unions, unionized workforce, non-unionized workforce, internal as well as external unions and federations).
- Ability to design interventions and deliver them successfully.
- Design and deploy an Employee Relation Strategy that promotes win-win relationships between the labor force and the organization.
- Facilitating Line Managers and equipping them to have the right channel of dialogue with the workmen and work towards resolving conflicts in an amicable manner.
- Lead all internal and external communication initiatives related to HR.
- Adopt effective communication strategies to build ownership and engagement within the work force.
- Ensuring a consistent communication strategy thereby reflecting the organizations vision, values and purpose.
- Preference to individuals having worked with multinationals having operations in India.
Key skills and competencies :
Labor Laws Proficiency : Excellent understanding and knowledge of the applicable Acts - Factory's Acts, Gratuity, PF, Shops & Establishments Act etc.
