Purpose of the role:   Become a driving force within the Global Business Management team of Mammography! We are seeking the position of a Segment Leader Mammography. This role helps to revtalise the mammography business through NPIs and aggressive distribution focus. The role contains a decent amount of expectedly 50% travel across the globe to our market organizations or valued business partners and distributors, to congresses, tradeshows or other internal and external events.   You are a good fit for the role if you have been a Global Product Owner, managed the product commercially, forged relationships with key customers, build strategy for penetration of products in matured markets as Europe/US and owned complete life-cycle of products.   Reporting:  You will report directly to the BU Leader - DXR   Key Areas of Accountability:   The role is established to ensure the business success in Mammography segment. Within a framework given by the MT, the role is assigned to deliver solutions in Mammography to enable Philips win in that segment. The role has the following responsibilities from product idea to end-of-service:   Deliver upon:   - NPI Roadmap of the specific segment (including IB upgrades, product updates, new products, targeted markets) on the tracks that Marketing is laying out   - Running (multiple) programs in their segment   - Competitive/appropriate pricing & positioning   - LCM (including field quality issues, obsolescence, FCO); embedded in the BIU contact to the Markets etc.   - Customer Experience Management (NPS)   - Maximizing the relative (%) contribution margin (=everything that is specific to a certain product)   BOM cost reduction, concept savings   Install and warranty cost by poor quality, call rate   The role has the task to monitor and critically challenge   Direct Labor cost   Transportation cost   Price Realization   Quality & Compliance   Regulatory approval to make products available in the countries where we want to sell   Revenue   In total, segment leader has a Profit & Loss responsibility for the business that is defined within the segment.   Core building blocks of the role are:  - Member of the BU leadership team   - Predictability of global execution against the roadmap (schedule, budget and quality)   - Contribution Margin improvement against target set by MT   - Global Market share improvement against target set by MT   - Improve global Net Promotor Score (NPS) against target set by MT, especially for NPIs   - Product introduction meets the global business case off the product   - Responsible for Multi Location (India, Sweden, China)   Key Performance Indicators:   - Predictability of execution against the roadmap (schedule, budget and quality)   - Contribution Margin improvement against target set by MT   - Marketshare improvement in the segment against target set by MT   - Improve NPS against target for the products in the segment as set by MT, especially for NPIs   - Financial Success: Product introduction meets the business case of the product   - Cost of Non-Quality lower than target set by MT   - Turnover of the Segment and the products in it   - Meeting segment P&L targets in total   Other Responsibilities:   - The mammo integral business (Equipment + Service) is an Euro 30 M business, with strong growth potential   - The segment leader will be responsible for OIT, Sales, warranty, integral iGM ( Equipment+service), Call rate and all aspects of customer satisfaction, BOM (Factory sales Pricing) along with the cross functional team   - He /She will interface with R&D, CS, Finance, Product marketing, Markets, Procurement, Operations and the GM to develop the portfolio, deliver the NPIs and ensure world class customer experience KPIs are met and overall business goals are met.   Job Requirements:   The role aims to connect closely with our global sales and marketing teams and their business leaders for Mammography. The successful candidate will therefore possess a global mindset, multicultural business track record and the following knowledge, skills education and experience:   - Bachelor's degree required. MBA, MSc or equivalent preferred.   - 15 Yrs+ experience with Minimum 5 years sales or business management experience within a country or regional market organization ( must have a stint as Global Product owner for a matured market such as Europe or the US)   - Preferably solid experience in the Healthcare sector. Ideally in mature and emerging markets, and/or having served customers in two or more cultural domains   - Impactful track record of strategic initiatives brought to business results, making use of strategic planning skills and a high commitment to delivery and deadlines. Think in business terms and financial as well as clinical value.   - Ability to empathize with customer's situation, reflect it to internal teams in written and verbal form   - Think critically and analytically, yet creatively alike with clear strive to inspire and couch our local and regional sales & marketing teams to take right steps at right time   - People intelligence and empathy- you can work in a collaborative and constructive way with a wide array of personalities, skill sets, and experience levels   - Fluent in English, verbal and written, to succeed all aspects of negotiations well   - Ability and flexibility to travel abroad frequently
