Accountabilities –

- Develop systems to monitor performance of our suppliers

- Conduct supplier audits at the desired frequency according to the SQA guidelines

- Ensure lot sampling and testing of supplier ingredients in accordance with SQA guidelines

- Report out BU performance in terms of SQA KPI’s to the business and to AMEA

- Maintain accurate records of audit findings

- Conduct supplier audits in accordance with SQA training program and normal external auditor processes

- Ensure all new ingredients are qualified prior to use

- Liaise with OHS representatives for ingredients with potential to affect team members

- Assist suppliers to close audit gaps by suggesting best practices

- Work with Procurement and Technology in the early stages of ingredient development and sourcing.

- Responsible and spearheads the Monthly Quality Review with plants and closely monitors plant wise material issues and takes corrective actions at the vendor’s end.

- Train back up auditors in accordance with the SQA program

- Evaluate the analytical performance of suppliers

- Assist plants with any supplier food safety performance issues or non-conformances.

- Plays a key role in vendor relationship management along with Category managers.

- Spearheads the T2T meeting between key vendors and PepsiCo SLT.

- As a part of vendor relationship management responsible for organizing the yearly vendor meet and conducting the vendor satisfaction survey.
