We plan to launch nearly 20 new furniture studios in 2015 Pan India  Job Description:  Role: Head - Retail  Reporting: Vice President  The company is seeking to appoint Head - Retail to define and execute its retail strategy through a chain of furniture studios across metros and key business markets. The key responsibilities are as follow:  - Plan the retail launch strategy for pepperfry  - Identify, negotiate and finalize key locations in respective cities for setting up furniture studios  - Overall project management of setting up the furniture studio to ensure we are on track as per launch plan  - Hiring of Store Incharge & interior designers for respective studios  - Monitoring the store performance basis footfalls, customer feedback, transactions etc  - Plan events and other promotions to drive awareness and increase customer footfalls for each studio  - Liaise with the marketing team to ensure promotional plans are executed properly  - Provide regular updates to senior management on studio performance and overall customer insights  - Actively use metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers, while developing future  plans and initiatives for the studio  Candidate Requirements:   - Post graduate from a reputed college  - 12-15 years of overall experience in retail - setting up stores and successfully managing them  Skill Requirements:  - Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills  - Managed a team in the earlier assignments  - Detail focused, executes with excellence and owns the outcome   Job Location: Mumbai
