Partner Development Manager

- A primary responsibility of this role will be to define and execute a strategy for acquiring and managing a large number of SI partners across multiple verticals.

- The ability to identify, prioritize and build relationships with the most strategic of these SIs is essential. The right individual will need to focus on assisting the SI's drive customer adoption, and he or she will also work to ensure each partner chooses AWS as the preferred platform for their customers.

- Your responsibilities will also include establishing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organizations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.

- The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to interact at the CXO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects.

- He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. Roles and Responsibilities:

- Recruit new Consulting Partners including Web developers, digital agencies, value-added re-sellers (VARs), managed service providers, consultants and SIs.

- Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement and go-to-market requests.

- Assist the SIs with their customer opportunities.

- Identify, enable and qualify high-value partners that will drive revenue and deliver best-in-class professional services to AWS customers.

- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to further develop partner strategies and processes.

- Contribute to the development of our constantly evolving Emerging Partner program.

- Understand and exploit the use of internal systems.

- Develop a plan to recruit, on-board and measure mid-market SI partners across the region at scale

- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks

- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets

- Handle ad-hoc incoming inquiries and qua

Basic Qualifications :

Have a broad based understand of cloud technologies

- The right person will have a balanced technical and analytical background and possess extensive sales and/or business development experience.

- Extensive channel experience across India is a requirement.

- Experience working within the enterprise software industry is highly desired, especially in the virtualization, cloud or enterprise software spaces.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

- Exposure to and experience is developing channel programs to deliver sustainable revenue

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or Computer Science or Math background highly desired

- Strong partner network Across India

- The right person will possess 9-11 years of sales or business development experience in the software / technology industry

Preferred Qualifications :

- Masters Degree

- SI and/or reseller partner management experience
