Position title: Head - Ad Sales   Locations: Chennai - Corporate Office   Department: Sales  Grade: SM2  Organizational relationships: Reports to: Chief Sales Officer  Purpose of the Job: Responsible for Online and Print Ad-Sales  Key responsibilities  - Increasing advertisement revenues.   - Identifying and Selling ad space in the online (web, mobile and app) and offline (print magazine) by connecting brands to audience profiles.  - Identifying and Selling sponsored content.   - Interfacing with both ad agencies and end customers for new opportunities.  - Lead generation  - Servicing existing and new clients.  - Identifying new ways (technical and other) to advertise.  - Increase circulation of the magazines and other content.  Technical Skills:  - Business Development.   - Sales and Promotions.  - Marketing of space (online and offline).  - Sales process, CRM etc.   Behavioral Competencies  - Growth mind-set and Execution focus.   - Sales rigor & drive for day to day business  - Ability to interface with senior executives in client organisations.  - Ability to hire, train and continuously develop and motivate ad sales team.  - Analytical Skills.  Formal Qualifications / Prior Work Exp  - Graduate/MBA with min 10 to 12 years of relevant work experience.  - Past Exp in Online Ad Space selling would be an added advantage.
