Consulting Manager  Company Description  Palantir Solutions is an integrated software and consulting company, providing economic and planning solutions and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. We operate internationally and have offices in the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, India, Australia, Colombia, Argentina, and Singapore.  We are looking for a Consulting Manager to oversee our Bangalore based PRL (Palantir Regime Library) research and consulting team.   Job Purpose  As Consulting Manager, you will be responsible for the team of 6 to 8 people. Their time will be spread between research and modeling for the Palantir Regime Library (PRL) and consulting projects.  One of Palantir's products is a global library of fiscal regimes, the Palantir Regime Library (PRL). Our PRL team researches global fiscal terms for oil and gas projects, write reports summarizing the terms and builds models in Excel and our proprietary modeling format. You, therefore, need a strong technical base in order to ensure that the team builds and delivers accurate and high-quality models. You will need excellent communication skills and top quality written English.  Key Responsibilities  - Oversee the work and manage the engagements of consultants ensuring the quality of client deliverables.   - Support new business development activities.  - Provide subject matter expertise in delivering solutions to our clients.  - Recruitment of new consultants along with appraisal and motivation of the team.  - Support the professional development of the consultants.  - Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and encourage improvement and innovation.  - Contribute to thought leadership within the organization via blog, white paper, and case study delivery.  - PRL: Seek innovative quality and process improvements across the library  - PRL: Help with researching petroleum fiscal regimes and   Person specification:  We want only the best people for our company.
