Equity Research Analyst – Buy Side (1-3 yrs)  Job Profile  Experienced Buy side Equity Research analyst for an Investment fund based out of Delhi to advise the company on investments in the capital markets, having aptitude & balanced approach towards selection of securities for investments and managing the portfolio.  Company Information  Palaash Ventures is an early stage Investment fund which focuses on investments (listed & Unlisted) across segments. Founded in early 2013 by some Media Veterans, the fund aims to target diverse segments. The core management team comprises of professionals with experience in building businesses, and therefore the fund has a hands-on involvement philosophy with the portfolio companies. Headquartered in New Delhi, the fund has a presence in Bangalore as well. The fund in its short period of existence till now has closed six investments and counting. Apart from investing in such start-ups, Palaash also intends to invest a portion of its funds in equity markets.  Job Responsibilities:  - Macroeconomic Analysis   - Identifying & Forecasting, industries with higher growth potential.  - Stock selection  - fundamental analysis: analyze financial statements  - competitive landscape  - evaluate company management  - analyze market share and other affecting factors  - build and maintain financial models with focus on key business drivers and valuation  - check whether stocks is overvalued or undervalued  - Stock pitch for the stocks selected to the Partners  - Invest in the stocks/other financial instruments  - Manage the portfolio with prudent practices as per Management expectations  - Monitor the portfolio continuously and provide performance report periodically  Desired Skills/Profile  - Good quantitative and analytical skills  - Strong attention to detail & control over impulsive actions.  - Passionate about the Capital Markets and fully well versed of the current trends  - Good in Financial modelling including valuation and analysis  - Should have the thorough understanding of equities, mutual funds, derivatives and other securities  - Willing to work independently though under the guidance of the Management team  - MBA in Finance from Tier 1 institutes  - CFA, NCFM high-level courses, CPM certifications will be an added advantage  - 1-3 years of work experience in equity investment, equity research, investment banking.  Salary  CTC Rs. 9-12 lacs per annum plus Performance Linked Bonus
