Oracle - Senior QA Director - Sustaining Engineering

This person will be a self-motivated, multi-purpose subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge on DB along with a strong understanding of the technical aspects of cloud computing. This person should also have an understanding of the overall IT market, customer pain points, competitive offerings, and be thoroughly familiar with product development processes and QA methodologies. Database being the flagship product of Oracle, this group has high visibility and can serve as an exponential growth vehicle for the career of the highly motivated individuals who can execute and think broadly.

Job responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and expertise in the QA and testing of Oracle's database and frequently operating at the leading edge of technology

Closely collaborate with Development teams to understand new releases, features, enhancements and devise testing strategies

Improvise constantly to deliver high quality product

Influence product team to invest in areas which need robustness

Outstanding communication skills and ability to present to internal audiences, stakeholders and executives.

Establish metrics to measure the success of each release

Interacts with executive management providing vision, strategies and also measures of success.
