Inventory Control Analyst - Supply Planning  Job Description :  - Responsible for planning the assigned country by ensuring minimal supply Issues  - Ensure right part is available at the right place and at the right time, avoid stock-outs/back-orders, improve availability and maximize inventory turns  - Collaboration with freight & warehousing to reduce the in transit aging in case of delays and ensure accurate lead times to be used for setting buffer stocks  - Act as the face of the planning team to the internal customers i.e. Logistics Area Managers, Dispatch and Global Freight & Warehousing  - Assist the back-order planning team to help close already existing back-orders faster and reduce aging  - Interaction with cross country/region planners to make smart decisions to achieve the overall team's goal in case of supply issues  - Closely work with the global team to get the required parts into the region through one of the two available sources of supply i.e. new buys/repair  - Root cause analysis of availability issues and directing them to the appropriate team and help fix not to occur in the later periods wherever possible  - Own an allocated process to drive the process improvements and help team achieve goals in a smarter way  - Assist Indirect and T5 Onsite spare planners wherever necessary through sharing of the country parts  - Participate in the supply chain optimization projects ongoing in the organization wherever necessary  - Liason with IT team with key business inputs wherever necessary and contribute to improvements/smooth run of the planning tool  Qualifications/Requirements :  - BE/BTech mandatory, MBA/PGPM/PGDBM (Operations/Supply chain) or ME/MTech (Industrial Engineering) preferred  - 3 -7 years overall experience in supply chain planning (Demand/ Supply/ Inventory) experience with high tech or relevant industry  - Self-motivator, go-getter and responsive who is able to identify and develop opportunities through to completion.  - Hard working with smarter decisions,customer focused and result driven  - Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.  - Flexible team player, receptive to change with a "can do" attitude.  - Good communication skills.  - Well organized and analytical with an inquisitive nature.  - Fluent English is essential.  - Advanced excel with vba/macro/solver skills  - Data Analysis using Microsoft Access
