Oracle App Technical/ EBS/ Architect/ PM/ Females only
IT Application Architect, to serve as a technical expert responsible for the design and implementation of solutions on the Oracle Human Capital Management platform (HCM). The role would require the candidate to leverage his / her hands-on experiences to design solutions that integrate central, distributed and client server systems to maximize utility & minimize cost.
- Implement technical standards, resolve complex system issues, and ensure project management teams have the necessary tools, environments and resources.
- Effectively engage global teams and experts to create and propose technology designs, standards, and solutions with high impact to business and/or its customers
- Champion large-scale process and technology improvement efforts, to provide mutually acceptable, cost effective IT solutions
- Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve IT issues for client leaders and end-users
- Interpret, modify or produce documented IT application frameworks or architectures
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap to help better leverage our Oracle HCM EBS system as a service oriented platform that can seamlessly integrate with various business process
- Research development in assigned technology, validate business requirements, proposes changes, develop migration and implementation plans, and execute associated projects
- Perform project level design, debug and performance analysis
- Lead detailed design and code reviews
- Write, review, and critique Use Cases and detailed specification of key business rules
- Create Process flow diagrams, Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation Application Gap analysis
- Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors and peers
Other Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend emerging or enhanced technologies that could improve current IT systems, support operations and end user experience, through Proof of Concepts
- Provide input into the technology plan for the IT organization, and ensure that plans for their assigned applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure
- Teach and mentor others to develop their technical expertise
- Continuously strengthen own technical expertise
- Lead programs and projects in support of the strategic initiatives related with incident reduction, simplification, process excellence, security and compliance
- Ensure the quality and delivery of the SLA's by partnering with the IT solution providers and GE Corporate IT Program Managers
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Masters in Engineering / MBA degree or related from premier institutes
- 8+ years' experience in Information Systems
- Minimum of 4 years of recent hands-on technical experience as the Lead Developer or Architect on large Oracle EBS 11.5.10 / R12+ applications
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on technical experience working with Middleware Integrations with at least two of the following technologies: Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Business Rules Engine (BRE), Business Process Mgmt (ex: BPM, BPEL)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in Oracle 10g/11g DBMS and SQL tuning, indexing analysis, partitioning
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on technical experience in coding software using the following technologies: PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, OAF, J2EE or ADF, and JDeveloper 10g+
- Minimum of 1 year of experience reshaping / rebuilding legacy applications to integrate within a Service Oriented Architecture leveraging web services
- Strong analytical skills - strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve
