Proposal Manager - RFP  Job Description :  - As a Proposal Manager, you will work with the Sales and Marketing departments to assist in the selling of Optymyze's Sales Compensation Management solutions by gathering information and writing the responses to RFI's (Requests for Information) and RFP's (Request for Proposals).  Responsibilities :  RFP Response Creation :   - Creates high quality, competitive responses for all incoming RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires that are tailored to specific requirements for each opportunity. Obtain information regarding Optymyze's latest offerings, procedures/processes, and messaging by interacting with other departments as needed.  RFP Template and Library Maintenance : Maintain Optymyze's RFP Library, RFP Template and Proposal Template to ensure that all content is accurate and old messages are archived and the latest messaging is updated.  Proposal & Sales Support :   - Work with members of the New and Existing Client Sales teams to help manage pipeline of incoming proposals and identify needed responses and timelines, and communicate with sales leaders during the RFI/RFP process from receipt and prioritization of work to delivery, to provide clear and comprehensive documents and updates.  - Manage the entire RFP/RFI process-from review and analysis to delivery - providing clear and comprehensive documents  - Assemble and manage small cross-functional teams with the responsibility to produce compelling proposals within the timeline  - Interact across departments to develop new content as well as keeping existing content current  - Maintain database of RFP/RFI questions and responses in the system  - Systematize and automate existing RFP process  Prerequisites :  - 5+ years of experience in a technical or technology-based role with the ability to translate complex business requirements into digestible sales and marketing-related language  - 2+ years managing the RPI and RFP process  - Experience managing a team  - Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, including impeccable grammar  - Exceptional attention to detail  - Ability to understand and answer questions directly and in the context of which the questions are asked while positioning Optymyze as the leader among competitors and casting a positive light on Optymyze  - Excellent communication and listening skills  - Must be a self-starter, naturally driven to provide top-quality work, highly self-disciplined, and able to work independently  - A working style rooted in ownership, passion, teamwork, innovation, and collaboration.  - MBA from a top tier college or university preferred, BA or BS degree required.
