Operations Manager - Investment Research

The Role: In this role you will coordinate Company Operations Process development strategy and manage day-to-day operational activities of the local data teams in the region. You will be responsible for establishing local teams goals, policies and procedures and aligning them with the organizations overall goals and objectives. You will be accountable for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity and efficiency of the local teams and the delivery of the operational performance KPIs. You will effectively manage the performance and development of the local leaders in order to support our continuous operational success.

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop a team of X+ data analysts, team leaders and managers by providing strategic direction, establishing SMART goals, and optimizing resource allocation.

Serve as an equity data expert for companys listed on global exchanges.

Mentor, aid, train and share knowledge with the team on equity data, project management, and accounting standards.

Working closely with multiple global teams and across various functions.

Assist the team to identify and eliminate roadblocks by partnering with technology teams and other database teams.

Lead a Center of Excellence initiative focused on reducing resource costs, consolidating global data collection platforms, and supporting database integration projects.

Promote LEAN Six Sigma tools and methodologies as an analyst framework for assessing the root cause of issues and improving processes.

Requirements:

Masters degree in economics/finance/business with an exceptional academic record.

12-15 years of work experience in equity domain with strong financial knowledge.

Strong knowledge of US/IFRS GAAP will be an added advantage.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.

Strong project management and business analysis skills.

Experience in managing a diverse team.

Good command in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint etc.), database knowledge is desired.
