Ocwen - Project Manager

This is Nilakshi from Ocwen Financial Solutions. We are the fourth largest Mortgage service provider in the world and the largest non-bank servicer.

We are currently hiring Project Manager - Bangalore

The Project Manager will have overall responsibility to manage a portfolio of strategic, operational and technology projects for the the Company.

Primary Responsibilities

- Manage the project portfolio and priorities to drive alignment with all business units and other key stakeholders

- Provide leadership for strategic, operational and technology projects to improve the service delivery to our clients

- Initiate and lead project planning activities such as Project Charter, Statement of Work, and Project Plan development

- Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring Resource Estimates, Overall Project Timeline, Project Milestones, Task Dependencies, and Critical Path

- Set and manage project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged

- Execute project with respect to Time, Cost, and Quality

- Evaluate project progress and success by conducting regular team status meetings, reporting project status, executing and updating management plans as necessary, resolving issues as they arise

- Manage project risk and ensure successful project implementations

- Promote continuous improvement by conducting, documenting, and communicating lessons learned

- Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations

- Influence departmental procedures and objectives

- Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters Degree in project management, technology or business-related field

Project Management : 5 + years

Knowledge and demonstrated experience in at least one structured development methodology (i.e. SDLC, waterfall, scrum, agile, phase gate, etc)

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

Detail and big picture orientation

Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause / corrective action analysis

Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel

Knowledge in Corporate systems and business processes (i.e. Finance, HR) are a plus
