The Instructional Designer will develop and maintain training media, materials and methods to support change and educational initiatives of divisional leadership, strategic initiatives of Ocwen and departmental needs as defined throughout the organization.  - The scope of these development efforts range from informative job aids, to instructor-led training courses, to computer based training methods.  - The Instructional Design team is the central source for information, expertise and consulting on instructional design.   - The design team ensures training programs designed and delivered are in support of company initiatives.  Job Functions:  - Conducts needs assessments, analyzes established training needs, identifies instructional content, develops training strategies, and develops curriculum plans.   - Defines learning objectives, works with subject matter experts, researches topics, prepares job aids, selects appropriate media (e.g., instructor-led, CBT, job aid, etc.), writes, illustrates, and revises instructor and participant materials and conducts pilot tests of materials, following the five-step design process (needs analysis; design analysis; prototype; development; evaluation).   - Designs and implements effectiveness measures, including pre- and post-tests, course evaluations, in-class assessments and follow-up assessments.   - Interacts with other Corporate Training team members, collaborating on design initiatives when appropriate.   Qualifications:  - Bachelors or Master’s Degree, Instructional Design, or related subject.   - Minimum of three years of instructional design and/or technical writing experience.   - Demonstrable experience in improving performance in an adult learning environment, which emphasizes performance analysis.  - Working knowledge of the principles and methodologies associated with instructional design and adult learning.  - Ability to analyze the needs of the workplace, associates, work settings and work processes and to design training solutions that result in improved performance.  - Experience in designing instructional strategies, designing instructional materials and evaluating results of specific improvement courses or programs.  - Ability to work within an instructional design system, plan and manage instructional design projects, communicate design concepts and promote the use of instructional design methodologies.  - Experience in working in a results-oriented, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that demands results.  - Must be willing to travel to meet off-site needs or attend training.
