The Key account manager is responsible for the sales performance of Modern Trade Channel (as defined by NIVEA India) for East Region. He/She assists Channel Manager - Modern Trade in delivering the overall regional sales objectives, supervises, fine tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies policies and strategies.  Detailed Responsibilities :  Business Objectives :  1) To evolve & achieve Strategic Annual Operating Business Plans for the defined Modern Trade/ National Key Accounts  2) Develop Modern Trade by conducting Strategic alliance tie-ups, Consumer Promotions, building relations and image of overall existence of the company in modern Trade  3) To achieve volume and value objectives of East Zone within budget,time and policy parameters through efficient control of network  4) Planning and Negotiating strategic alliances with key chaines  5) Responsible for Controlling prominent shelf space and merchandising unit positioning in all key accounts  6) Appoint manage and develop profitable business partners  7) Develop new business opportunities by tracking and projecting new business plans  Market liasoning : Executing planned consumer promotions and events at quarterly basis, Own a product launch calender, Execute marketing events and Promotional Programme  Financial Responsibility: Operate/Achieve channel costs, Documentation and Prior Approval of All TOTs, Submitting NOCs, Settling Distributor and outlet claims  Distributor Responsibilities : Ensure All planned distributors in the zone are appointed in time and are operational through proper co- ordination  Outlet Responsiblities : Ensure Gold Standard Merchandising, Correct Placements & Maintaining All company marketing assets, Database of all modern trade outlets  Reporting / Administration : Monitor Activities and Sales Promotions
