Department : Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)   Job Objective :  The key objective of this position is to provide technical delivery expertise in the area of data warehouse/business intelligence to the Technical Support group (TSG) in Data Mining and Analytics Facility at Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).  Responsibilities :  The Consultant shall report to the Sr. Consultant - IT - DW/BI with the following responsibilities :   - Understanding the purpose and objectives of the project  - Working to timescales and within project constraints  - Reporting progress against plan  - Producing the deliverables to agreed specifications  - Reviewing key project deliverables/products  - Identifying issues and risks associated with the project  - Assist system and data analysis team in all Data Quality Management activities.  - Prepare all functional and technical specification documents.  - Provide assistance to end users and resolve all queries for data extraction and generate appropriate reports.  - Provide support to all implementation activities.  - Design and generate reports as per the specifications  - Will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, and evaluate data requirements.  Education : B. Tech / BE / MCA  Skills & Experience :  - 4+ years of professional experience in information technology.  - Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Warehousing / Reporting  - Experience with relational databases and SQL is a must.  - Ability to tie analytic solutions to business/industry value and outcomes  - Experience in open source/ Proprietary tools such as Cognos, Informatica, SAS etc.  - Experience of working with a Government set up is desirable.  - Knowledge/ experience of corporate sector data .mining & analytics, companies- financial data is desirable.  - Identify data requirements for solving business problems, and use appropriate packages and tools to build models that deliver actionable insights
