Nectar Services Corp - Solution Architect - UC Technologies

Nectar requires a Solution Architect who has broad and deep understanding of UC technologies in combination with strategic business acumen.

The ability to apply knowledge to aid and demonstrate within a sales cycle and engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to business value, managed services around UC technologies is a must.

The Solutions Architect is the lead customer-facing technical expert for our software solutions. The Solutions Architect works in closely together with our senior account executives to understand and qualify customer needs from a technical perspective, position and present our software solutions to best serve the customer's needs.

In this role, the Solutions Architect will:

- Support the senior account executive in opportunity qualification

- Designing, and support the sales of unified communications applications monitoring, performance management and diagnostics solutions

- Uncover and analyze problems that affect a customer's business and can be addressed by Nectar software.

- Develop and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of Nectar solution

- Establish and manage all customer trials and proof of concepts (POC)

- Preparing technical responses requests for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP)

- Support Implementation and training of the Nectar portfolio

- Assist support team in support cases.

- Provide technical documentation to customers as required.

- Communicate with development and product managers to ensure a thorough understanding of Nectar's product strategy both current and future.

The ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong architecture, consulting and program management background, and in depth, hands on customer delivery experience with Microsoft Lync platform with emphasis on the Enterprise Voice specific workloads. Additionally, he or she will acts as the trusted advisor position for our customers during a sales cycle.

Education

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

4+ years- experience in Sales - customer facing engagements or technical sales support

Microsoft MCSE certification

Cisco CCNA certified

Microsoft Certified Master for OCS, Lync, Cisco CCNP Voice and/or PBX vendor certifications are a BIG plus

Skills and Experience

- Proven technical pre-sales skills such as solution design and professional services effort estimation, scoping workshops, working with partners to define roles and responsibilities.

- Field consulting experience, with large global Customers / Partners, on infrastructure architecture design, developing solution guidance and leading complex consulting engagements

- Credibility with senior level customer architects representing the traditional voice, server infrastructure and network functional areas.

- Capability to address the technology challenges and opportunities affecting each technical discipline allowing him/ her to bridge the knowledge and communication gap that often exists between these technical stakeholders

- VoIP/telephony expertise including knowledge of competitive solutions (e.g., Cisco, Avaya), working knowledge of PBX integration scenarios

- Understand the challenges that arise with the Lync/S4B & Enterprise Voice Journey

- Fluent in English, (Spanish and/or Portuguese desirable)

- Travel will be required
