An Opportunity to head the national vertical sales of a leading Animal Healthcare firm.

KRA & Purpose of the role :

- Responsible for maximizing company's market share and sales volume for AHP Cattle segment product lines across channels in India, thereby achieve company's vision of becoming the Best Performing and Most Respected company in the area of Animal Health products market

- Develop and implement sales plan in line with the business unit strategy to ensure that the business unit achieves its desired sales and market share objectives

- Translate business unit plan into strategic sales force objectives across products and channels

- Develop annual operational Sales plans across regions

- Formulate and recommend plans to expand market share in existing and capture new markets

- Analyze competitors to understand their new products and new market developments

- Continuously track performance against sales plan and take actions to keep on track

- Cattle segment - Actual sales vs. target

- Ensure development and maximization of revenues through the sales channels for the Cattle segment. - Develop, review and help the sales channel teams in implementing the business group strategy across the different regions and ensure consistency of practices across locations

- Maintain contact with major customers and prospects to close a sale, promote good will, or to provide a basis for continued or future business

- Ensure good relationships with key members of sales channels, with government and semi government institutions to ensure continuous development of the channel

- Revenue growth through each channel

- Sales pipeline: Responsible for achieving sales growth for new products to ensure growth of NRPL's market share

- Engage with product development team and provide them with market data, user feedback and insights to help improve existing products or develop new products

- Facilitate for field trials having maximum coverage

- Assist in development of costing and pricing strategy for new products

- Monitor launch of new products with a view to improve market penetration, and increase the profitability of the division

- Develop new channels for efficient delivery of new products at the retailer place.

- Sales growth through new product category

- Coordinate with the Senior team to ensure timely availability of quality products at the C&F

- Coordinate with the Senior team to ensure that the products are available to the customer access points at all time

- Ensure feedback back to QA, manufacturing, logistics team in case there are any customer complaints

- Design processes to ensure that the sales plan is communicated and agreed by the PSO logistics team through senior team.

- Timely availability of products to customers through proper distribution channel

- Timely communication of rolling sales plan to PSO/logistics

- Engage with marketing strategy team to ensure implementation of the marketing campaigns to reach the desired user set

- Work with the marketing strategy team in the development of promotion calendar/plan

- Ensure support of sales organization in implementation of campaigns at the ground level and gather campaign feedback

- Ensure that all marketing material and in-store promotion material is available at the sale point and displayed as per guidelines from marketing strategy team

- Number of promotion al/Sales campaign programs executed

- Maintain a sound and effective sales organization capable of achieving desired sales coverage, market penetration and volume and margin goals

- Ensure that staff are developed, trained, motivated, evaluated for job performance and compensated fairly

- Ensure optimum Man power in areas of responsibility

- Evaluate specific tasks of each job to assure that key functions are performed effectively- Employee Attrition Rate

- Employee Engagement

- Performers retainment
