Nature of work:
The incumbent would be responsible for managing sales our products and solution of the assigned Govt./defense/PSU accounts thereby achieving the sales target
Location: New Delhi
Reports to: Business Head
Qualification and Experience
- MBA in Marketing with specialization in marketing from an institute of repute.
- Experience in S/W products / IT enabled solutions with at least 3 years of software solutions marketing experience in government vertical is desirable but not mandatory
Skill Set Required:
- Strong track record of marketing high value based software solutions.
- Should have handled software marketing in a software product and services company
- Understands customer behavior and buying process cycle in government (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and should be well known with the dynamics of Government sector.
- Manages relationship with sales team, system integrators and partners to ensure a maximum reach in the market.
- Should be able to articulate marketing literature and customer communication
- Should independently run various marketing plans through emails, posts and other channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisation
- Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs
- Writing and proofreading copy
- Liaising with designers and printers
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials
- Maintaining and updating customer databases
- Organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
- Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies
- Managing budgets
- Evaluating marketing campaigns
- Monitoring competitor activity
- Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues
- Enhance company's image and reputation through effective communication
- Add value to company's website and enhance its SEO rating
- Run a regular Social media campaign through various social media sites such as LinkedIn, Face book, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube.
