Business Unit And Role Overview:

The Marketing & Online Sales department ensures that our customers - existing and potential - get to know about Myntra’s offerings, and regard Myntra as their prime resource for everything to do with fashion. Every activity this team undertakes would have either of two objectives - to acquire or retain customers. If you've seen a communication from Myntra - on television, newspapers, Facebook, websites, emails, billboards, or events - this team is responsible.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement Brand Positioning & Communication strategy; manage advertising agency relationships

- Develop and implement Media Strategy; manage media agency relationships

- Build marketing plans/calendar, achieve buy-in from stakeholders and execute

- Lead brand partnerships and activations

- Manage celebrity interactions where required

- Work closely with Digital marketing and sales teams to drive customer acquisition and retention, repeat purchase etc.

- Liase with various functions across the organization to devise and execute various sales promotion activities.

- Develop ‘competitive’ strategies, achieve buy-in from stake-holders

- Monitor ROI and work towards enhancing the same

- Commission market research and intelligence to support the strategic/tactical initiatives in the Marketing Plan

Desired Experience:

Years of experience:

- Min 10-12 years of relevant work experience, of which 5-7 years of people management experience

- Industry experience in Retail required

Qualification: MBA from Tier1 institute

Desired Skills:

- Ability to lead and inspire teams

- Ability to collaborate across functions, and work in a matrixed structure

- Influencing skills

- Strategic perspective

- Multi-tasking and project management

- High result orientation

- Proven track record of mining and leveraging consumer/shopper insights

- Proven track record of positioning and communication development

- Working knowledge of digital marketing
