Product Design Analyst

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The User Experience Product Analyst will be a part of the Product Design and User Experience team partnering to develop and deliver world class products on mobile and web channels.

As a Product Design Analyst you will help to develop a clean and seamless end-to-end customer experience that eliminates current pain points and establish new "wow" experiences that surprise and delight customers. You will own figuring out customer needs, enhancing the existing product to improve key metrics and defining entirely new experiences that differentiate our product from competitors.

You will touch all aspects of the product, design, technology, sales and operations, across mobile and web. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, an eye for detail and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand end user's problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Responsibilities include :

- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

- Advocate on behalf of the end user during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience for each end user

- Drive people, process, and technology initiatives to optimize the user experience end-to-end

- Defines functional requirements and specifications, high level processes and system solutions

- Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts, make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to- market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional teams

- Execute the product phases with your design and development teams, come up with timelines, manage to such timelines, call out risks, manage dependencies, and deliver on time with high quality.

- Ability to work directly with engineering, marketing and product teams to set scope, manage progress, and acceptance testing

- Ability to contribute to a technical discussion and properly illustrate product concept/vision by producing clear wireframes and interaction diagrams

- Design innovative product features with the goal of improving customer experience, retention, and sales

- Drive strategic alignment with company business goals

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

- 2-6 years of experience in ecommerce, FMCG, mobile and/or UX roles

- MBA from IIM (mandatory)

- Experience and passion in building engaging user experiences (web and mobile)

- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

- High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that will enable you to earn trust at all levels

- Extreme attention to detail and desire to roll up sleeves

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

- Must be a self-starter. Previous startup or e-commerce experience is a strong plus
