We support over 150 institutional clients through our team of 2,600+ employees and our global delivery centers, located in close proximity to our clients.  Please visit our website for more details: www.maknowledgeservices.com  Opportunity  Moodys Analytics Knowledge Services is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its PE / VC research team based in Gurgaon.  Responsibilities  - Act as single point of contact for a client team  - Draft processes and strategic frameworks for project execution  - Creating financial models and supporting clients on valuation exercises   - Set up processes to monitor performance of client portfolio companies or different business units   - Understand and interpret industry specific highlights, such as, trends and characteristics based on economic, social, political, technological, etc. background and provide insights thereof  - Interpret market information and prepare market models based on it - structure, size, growth, etc.   - Conduct research and analysis on companies including corporate strategies and competitive positioning, financials, technology, etc., analyze industries, identify and analyze trends, value chain, competitive landscape and peer benchmarking on various parameters ranging from operational, financial performance and capital market stats  - Perform quality checks for analysts to ensure correct understanding of research objectives and design strategy, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness and applicability in resolving the research problem   - Conduct sanity checks based on knowledge and not necessarily only data; ensure client ready deliverable from his/her end before sending it out to the client  Required Background  - Experience of 3+ years supporting PE / VC funds at research and analytics firms  - Knowledge and understanding of the dynamics of Energy and Utilities, Infrastructure and Financial Services sector   - Strong financial modeling and company valuation skills  - Experience of working independently and managing small (2 member) teams  - Superior problem solving abilities and strong analytical thinking to seek the why, how and so-what of a problem statement and ability to think multiple/alternative solutions to a given problem  - Strong written and verbal communication skills   - Ability to understand and formalize required end deliverables within defined time lines  - Proven insight generation capabilities   - Knowledge of various databases (Business/Competitive Intelligence/Financial)   - Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, such as, Power Point, Excel and Word to deliver the desired output in a creative manner  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
